What’s new at Bengals games this season

Paycor Stadium will once again be packed this Sunday when the Bengals open at home against the Pittsburgh Steelers at 1 p.m. The game-day experience aims to pick up where the Bengals left off last January, with a high-energy show that connects to the crowd with the team. Fans are encouraged to enter the stadium at 12:30 pm and make some noise as the defending AFC champions kick off the 2022 season. Before the game, fans are encouraged to “Show Your Stripes” and fans are invited to buildings to join the “Light Up Cincinnati Orange” initiative on Friday and Saturday to continue the support and traditions started during the 2022 playoff race.

The Bengals installed a new fiber-enabled state-of-the-art Wi-Fi network, allowing fans to enjoy a more connected gaming experience. Join “FreeJungleWifi” to connect to over 1,600 new hotspots strategically placed throughout the stadium for faster internet speeds.

The location of the free tailgate before the Bengals game has changed this year to The Banks. Pregame at The Banks spans three blocks in the DORA District on E. Freedom Way from Race Street to Joe Nuxhall Way and features music, food, drinks and games. The festivities start this Sunday at 10 am Visit for more details and future dates.

Led by the expansion of its partnership with Cincinnati-based Paycor, fans will see Paycor Stadium branding throughout the stadium as part of the new naming rights deal. There are two new gates at Paycor Stadium. The gate formerly known as “Gate B” has been renamed the High Fiber Northwest Gate. The gate formerly known as “Gate C” has been renamed Betfred’s Northeast Gate.

New this season, fans can scan their mobile tickets at “pedestals,” which are new ticket-scanning hardware to ease entry and get fans to their seats faster and before kickoff. The Bengals strongly encourage all fans to add their mobile tickets to their phone’s digital wallets to simply tap to enter. To celebrate their new alternate white helmet and create a new tradition, the Bengals present their first White Bengal game on Thursday Night Football. The Ring of Honor induction ceremony will also be during halftime for this game.
