Paycor Stadium will once again be packed this Sunday when the Bengals open at home against the Pittsburgh Steelers at 1 p.m. The game-day experience aims to pick up where the Bengals left off last January, with a high-energy show that connects to the crowd with the team. Fans are encouraged to enter the stadium at 12:30 pm and make some noise as the defending AFC champions kick off the 2022 season. Before the game, fans are encouraged to “Show Your Stripes” and fans are invited to buildings to join the “Light Up Cincinnati Orange” initiative on Friday and Saturday to continue the support and traditions started during the 2022 playoff race.
WI-FI UPGRADE
The Bengals installed a new fiber-enabled state-of-the-art Wi-Fi network, allowing fans to enjoy a more connected gaming experience. Join “FreeJungleWifi” to connect to over 1,600 new hotspots strategically placed throughout the stadium for faster internet speeds.
PREGAME ON THE BANKS
The location of the free tailgate before the Bengals game has changed this year to The Banks. Pregame at The Banks spans three blocks in the DORA District on E. Freedom Way from Race Street to Joe Nuxhall Way and features music, food, drinks and games. Enjoy live music at the Bud Light Tailgate Zone with bands playing on a stage located near Joe Nuxhall Way. Test your soccer skills at the CareSource Play 60 activity area on the lawn across from the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center. Visit the Jungle Zone presented by Toyota for interactive games, face painting, inflatables and a DJ near Race Street.
NEW PARTNERSHIPS
Led by the expansion of its partnership with Cincinnati-based Paycor, fans will see Paycor Stadium branding throughout the stadium as part of the new naming rights deal. The East and West Club windows will prominently display the Paycor Stadium logo this season, while additional elements will continue to be added in the coming months.
There are two new gates at Paycor Stadium. The gate formerly known as “Gate B” has been renamed the High Fiber Northwest Gate. The gate formerly known as “Gate C” has been renamed Betfred’s Northeast Gate.
ENTRANCE DOORS AND TICKET PEDESTALS
New this season, fans can scan their mobile tickets at “pedestals,” which are new ticket-scanning hardware to ease entry and get fans to their seats faster and before kickoff. The Bengals strongly encourage all fans to add their mobile tickets to their phone’s digital wallets to simply tap to enter. WHITE FENGAL GAME THURSDAY, SEPT. 29
To celebrate their new alternate white helmet and create a new tradition, the Bengals present their first White Bengal game on Thursday Night Football. Fans are encouraged to wear white to match the team’s all-white style. The blackout will be further complemented by an enhanced fireworks and light show for an energetic primetime atmosphere. The Ring of Honor induction ceremony will also be during halftime for this game.
