The Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation (LADF) Blue Diamond Gala is celebrating “10 Years Reimagined” with the seventh annual event at Dodger Stadium that will see eight-time GRAMMY Award winner Usher, perform a private benefit concert.
Individual tickets and sponsorship opportunities are available to purchase prior to the June 22 event. Proceeds benefit the LADF and its programs and initiatives aimed at improving education, health care, homelessness and social justice for all Angelenos.
A fundraising record was set last year with $3.6 million raised.
The Blue Diamond Gala, nicknamed “The Party For LA,” is presented by the ownership group of the Los Angeles Dodgers. The night includes a blue carpet, pre-show dinner, DJ D-Nice playing a set, and post-concert food trucks at the venue.
Dodgers players, coaches and celebrities are among those who regularly attend the star-studded event.
“The seventh annual Blue Diamond Gala celebrates the positive impact of the LADF as we stand up for the communities of Los Angeles,” Dodgers owner and LADF Chairman of the Board Mark Walter said in a statement. “We are thrilled that Usher will be performing at ‘The Party for LA’ this year to raise vital funds that allow us to invest in Angelenos and provide them with the opportunities they deserve.”
LADF Executive Director Nichol Whiteman added: “The gala honors our partners, community members and everyday champions as the foundation of our success. Our theme, ’10 Years Reimagined’, reflects our vision to build capacity, train future leaders and provide equal opportunity for the remarkable organizations and individuals we support. Together, we serve as a shining example of putting humanity first.”
Under the Guggenheim ownership group, LADF raised more than $81 million and is on track to hit $100 million this year. Over the last decade, LADF has invested more than $50 million in its programs and grants to local organizations and has impacted more than 9 million youth.
