I can’t believe Morning Spoilers is how I find out Dylan O’Brien is coming back to the big screen, but here I am, a sucker for this dumb actor who I think is great (He’s going to be in caddo lake, for your information). Also, I want to point out that SiloRightfully one of the best sci-fi shows airing right now, it’s been renewed for a second season! Hail Mary Project

THR reports Phil Lord and Chris Miller are attached to direct Hail Mary Project, a film adaptation of Andy Weir’s 2021 novel in which “a lone astronaut travels to another star on a mission to save Earth” after the sun begins to go dark. Starring Ryan Gosling, the outlet notes that much of the film’s Drew Goddard-penned script “features Gosling’s character, Ryland Grace, alone in a spaceship with no one to talk to. But the key emotional relationship in the film will be between Ryland and an alien, a relationship much easier to describe in a novel than on screen. She speaks through musical tones, not language, and she won’t have a cute little stuffed face (no Baby Yoda toys to sell in this case).”
