Xbox Games Showcase 2023 Predictions – Fable 4

He Xbox Games Showcase is fast approaching, and with the direct star field to continue, June 11 is going to be a great day in the E3 2023 Schedule line up. Promise to give us a look at the new games of Xbox game studios, Bethesda, and more, we’re ready to see what the future holds for Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Xbox Game Pass. As we get closer to the event itself, our thoughts turn to the games we get to see during the show.

With so many exciting upcoming Xbox Series X games in the pipeline, there are certainly plenty of great xbox series x exclusives we’re dying to see more of. With Xbox boss Phil Spencer confirming we can expect some new projects and updates of games we already knowand some sneak peeks at what may appear, we’ve put together a list of all our Xbox Games Showcase 2023 predictions.

We’re also keeping an eye out for some Xbox exclusives that need an update, including State of Decay 3.

Two years have passed since the perfect darkness The reboot was announced, and with very little to do since then, I think Xbox Games Showcase 2023 owes us more than a temperature check. The stunning trailer we saw at the Game Awards 2020 whetted our appetite for more, presenting the first-person spy thriller in a whole new light. It used to look great, but we haven’t seen anything new since Tomb Raider veterans Crystal Dynamics came on board as co-developers. I’m really looking forward to seeing how Perfect Dark shapes up as Crystal sets her sights on a new action heroine in need of a modern makeover.

Declared was first announced at E3 2020, with a trailer giving us a brief glimpse of the new first-person RPG from Fallout New Vegas and the outer worlds developer, obsidian. Taking place in the same universe as Pillars of Eternity, Avowed immediately piqued our interest thanks to its magical rune combat system and the fantasy setting of Eora. Since it was first revealed, we have yet to see or learn much more about the project beyond the fact that it is it is said that it presents firearms. but after a a report surfaced last year suggesting it’s “almost playable”maybe the next Xbox Games Showcase will finally update us on this anticipated obsidian next game.

hell blade 2

hell blade 2: Senua’s Saga is another great Xbox exclusive that we hope to see more of during the showcase. After it was first revealed in 2019, we’ve seen concept art, trailers, and even some sequel games in action last year. TO tech demo showcasing the stunning visual fidelity of Unreal Engine 5 It was also released by developer Ninja Theory, but has been relatively quiet in the news ever since. What has yet to be announced is a release date, and we can’t help but wonder if this could finally be confirmed during the showcase in the coming days. While that remains to be seen, it seems like a safe bet that Senua will show up at some point.

Gears 5 was released in 2019 and fans have been waiting for another installment ever since. Interestingly, rumors about Gears 6 have been doing the rounds for some time. Developer The Coalition launched a character rendering test to showcase the power of next-gen in Unreal Engine 5 in 2021before a leaker suggested we could see a new Gears of War game release in 2024-2025. A year later, the same character appeared in another Unreal Engine 5 reveal, which could apparently gave us an idea of what Gears of War 6 would look like in terms of visual fidelity. More recently, reporter Jeff Grubb claimed on a podcast that The Coalition had canceled several smaller projects unrelated to Gears of War, which has left fans optimistic about the future of the series. Perhaps the Xbox Games Showcase will set the stage for an official Gears 6 reveal at last.

fable 4

We didn’t expect to hear much from the fable 4 developer yet, but our hearts are very heavy now that Xbox teased Fable’s presence in its 2023 showcase. The cryptic tweet that has everyone buzzing shows an Xbox controller covered in glitter, underscored by a whimsical piece of music reminiscent of the original game’s soundtrack from 2004. This is by no means an absolute confirmation, but given that the producer of games Vijay Gill hinted in February that the new fable game is in a playable state already, the suspicions could be justified. Personally, I can’t wait to return to Albion in all its medieval fantasy glory. Fable has one of my favorite moral systems of any game series, so it’s safe to say that if Playground Games doesn’t come up with something significant on Sunday after such a tantalizing tease, I’ll eat my sword.

Announced four years ago, the developer team at Rare has given us just a few wistful glimpses of everwild. The magic of its lush surroundings is already palpable in the two movie trailers we’ve seen so far, just look to those adorable boar hugging each other! It’s a departure from Rare’s flagship IP Sea of Thieves, trading in ocean exploration for magical beasts, beings called Eternals, and a truly ethereal new world of your own. Reports surfaced in 2021 that Everwild had essentially been rebootednow with a new design director whose past credentials include some of the best horror games. This led to speculation that it could see a release date sometime this year, so we’d love to have Everwild on our list of new games for 2023 should Rare surprise us with new information, gameplay footage, or maybe even a confirmed release date at Xbox Showcase on Sunday.
