The first clip of The Flash Movie references Henry Cavill’s Superman

While Cavill will no longer be playing Superman in James Gunn’s DCU, there have been constant rumors that he The flash The movie could at least acknowledge the actor’s version of the iconic hero.

This comes after the trailers for the movie starring Ezra Miller already showed that Iron Man The villain, General Zod, is confirmed to appear.

A past rumor claimed that Cavill was supposed to have a cameo as Superman in The flash, but it has been removed. Still, the official synopsis for the film managed to make a subtle reference to Cavill’s DCEU Superman.

The Flash Clip Highlights Batman’s Mention Of Superman

Rotten Tomatoes officially released a new clip of The flashwith the footage centering on the two Barry Allens inside the Batcave from Michael Keaton’s Batman.

The short clip opens with DCEU’s Ezra Miller’s Barry Allen removing the covers on the Bat computer while young Barry is stunned by the sight of the Batmobile.

The clip ends with Keaton’s Batman telling the two Barry Allens that he’ll agree to help them find their world’s Superman, apparently indicating that he’s referring to the DCEU’s version of Henry Cavill:

“I will help you get this Superman. Then you are alone”.

Will Henry Cavill’s Superman make a surprise appearance?

According to previous reports and rumors, there is a slim chance that Henry Cavill’s Superman will appear in The flash.

Trailers have already shown that Sasha Calle’s Supergirl is the main Kryptonian to show up alongside both Barry Allen and Michael Keaton’s Batman against General Zod and his forces.

In fact, one scene from the trailer even featured Ezra Miller’s main Barry Allen telling Kara that she’s no clark [Kent],” indicating that they are, in fact, expecting Cavill’s Superman to appear and not Kara Zor-El.

If Cavill’s Man of Steel doesn’t make an appearance in the movie, then it’s possible his space pod from Krypton didn’t make it to Earth, or is stuck in a different realm like the Phantom Zone (which coincidentally where Zod was imprisoned).

Still, the movie could surprise everyone by spotlighting Henry Cavill’s Superman for the last time, even in a brief scene sometime in the movie or during its post-credits scene.
