Tabcorp launches revamped sports betting app

Tabcorp has revealed the latest version of its sports betting app which will now be available to Australian sports bettors who can download it from Google Play or the Apple Store. The app is built on the open source software Flutter and is considered a significant improvement over the previous version, both in terms of user interface and user experience.

Tabcorp’s new app is faster, better and more powerful

The new app is faster and easier for sports bettors to place bets, access a wealth of betting information and benefit from additional features that have been cleverly implemented into the app for consumer convenience and satisfaction. It is also part of Tabcorp’s stronger commitment to enhance and transform its brand and unique market proposition.

Commenting on this new development, Tabcorp CEO Adam Rytenskild said that the new apps are part of the company’s improvement strategy to elevate the sports betting experience for all of its customers. He added:

We want to be customer obsessed in everything we do, and this is the first of what will be regular updates to our app to transform the digital betting experience for punters.

Even better, Rytenskild explained that the new app is based entirely on customer feedback and what they expect and have in mind when accessing Tabcorp or any sportsbook, for that matter, through a handheld device.

Tabcorp will put much more effort into sports betting app regulation and will seek to constantly deliver improvements driven by insights into consumer behavior and understanding of consumer preferences. Tabcorp COO Jenny Barnett he also praised the app’s launch, saying it will bring a “new era” to Tab customers.

Frequent Updates Now the Status Quo

“The new application is already available and we are already working to update it; there is nothing to do and forget for us,” she added. Barnett confirmed that Tabcorp will also launch two new products before the end of the year.

Google’s Flutter open source software has also been instrumental in developing the new apps, said Tabcorp CIO Alan Sharvin. In fact, the software allows new versions of the app to be released quickly, even every two weeks, Sharvin said.

Flutter software is one of the biggest brands and Tabcorp is pleased to have leveraged their technology in Australia to enhance the mobile betting experience.
