Valve’s Steam platform for PC will soon make a classic open-world game completely free to download for a short period of time. In a general sense, PC fans are more used to seeing free games available on a weekly basis through the Epic Games Store. However, Steam has also been known to give away free titles on a somewhat routine basis, and hopefully this trend will continue in just a couple of days.
Coinciding with the 20th anniversary of the series, 2K Games will manufacture the original. Mafia free to download on PC. From September 1 to September 5, Mafia It will be free for all Steam users to add to their own library of digital games. First released in 2002, the original Mafia it first came to PC before later coming to PlayStation 2 and Xbox. The game later spawned two sequels, but it’s the first installment in the series that probably remains the most beloved. Mafia It boasts an impressive 88/100 score on Metacritic, proving just how heralded it was at the time of its release.

It is worth noting that the version of Mafia which is being given away on Steam here is the original iteration. In 2020, 2K Games remade the first installment in the series and called it Mafia: Definitive Edition. and while this Definitive Edition it was also very well received by fans, it won’t be the version that 2K is giving away for free on Steam. Having said that, Mafia: Definitive Edition It has also recently been discounted and can be purchased for just $14 on Steam.
