Two spy kids whose parents are kidnapped surely resemble the setting of the first spy kids movie with Tony and Patty being the new Juni and Carmen.

It is not clear at this time if Spy Kids: Armageddon is it a hard reset or soft reset.
In the case of the former, this would be like the karate kid starring Jackie Chan and Jaden Smith, which is in a completely separate universe from the original karate kid movies and Cobra Kai. Therefore, no character the karate kid can never appear in cobra kai.
But if this is just a soft reboot set in the same universe as the original movies, there’s a strong chance the original cast will show up. Perhaps the older Juni and Carmen can even become a sort of mentor to the new kids, as is often the case with legacy characters. What is the Netflix release date? Spy Kids: Armageddon?
Netflix has not announced a release date for Spy Kids: Armageddon, but considering its early stage of development, it would stand to reason that the film won’t be released for a while. Perhaps the second half of 2023.
