SAMS Odisha opens online application process for Class 11 admissions

, Odisha has officially announced the beginning of the application process for Class 11 Admissions 2023. Starting today, May 29, interested candidates can submit their applications through the dedicated online portal, samsodisha.gov.in . This online application window will remain open until June 20, 2023.

The next academic session for Class 11 will begin on July 29, 2023. To streamline the registration process and ensure efficiency, the Directorate will use the

Student Academic Management System

(SAMS) for admissions.

SAMS

will handle the admission process for Class 11 in various streams including Arts, Science, Commerce, Upashastri and Vocational courses. This comprehensive approach will cover all Higher Secondary Schools (HSS) in Odisha affiliated with CHSE(O). In addition, as part of the admission process, 93 Higher Secondary Schools will offer Vocational Training courses.

Regarding eligibility, applicants must have successfully passed the High School Certificate Examination (HSC) conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, or its equivalent boards. The admission application fee is set at Rs. 200, with a reduced fee of Rs. 100 for candidates belonging to the SC and ST categories.

The Directorate has also provided a complete list of important dates related to the admission process. Candidates must ensure timely compliance with these dates to ensure their admission. The last day to submit the Common Application Form (CAF) online is June 20, 2023 at 11:45 p.m. The publication of the

First Selection Merit List

and the availability of the Summons Letter for download will occur on June 28, 2023 at 11:45 AM. Selected first-round applicants may apply to their designated high schools for admission between June 29 and July 5, 2023, until 06:00 p.m.

On July 13, 2023, the Administration will release the Second Selection Merit List for Class 11 Admissions. Students can access this list and download their Intimidation Letter by logging into their student accounts. The deadline to access the List of Merits and Letter of Intimation is at 3:00 p.m. on the same day.

For those selected in the second round, the reporting and admission update process will take place from July 14-17, 2023. During this period, successful candidates must report to their designated HSS to confirm their eligibility. admission and meet the requirements. necessary documentation requirements. The reporting process will conclude at 6:00 p.m. on July 17, 2023.

Simultaneously, the Senior High Schools will update the admissions data of the second selection applicants and correct any errors in the SAMS eSpace. This data update and error correction window will be open from July 14 to 17, 2023, with a deadline at 9:00 p.m. on the last day.

Candidates who opted for Slide-up applications and were not selected have until 11:00 am on July 19, 2023 to unlock their options for SPOT admission. The Choice Locking presentation for the top choices remaining in SPOT intake will be open July 19-21, 2023, until 11:45 p.m.

The publication of the SPOT Selection and the availability of the Letter of Intent to download in the Student Login will be available until 11:00 am on July 26, 2023.

From 12:00 p.m. on July 26, 2023 to 6:00 p.m. on July 27, 2023, the report of applicants for First Selection and update of admission at the Higher Secondary School (HSS) level will be made. Finally, the long-awaited start of Class-XI is scheduled for July 29, 2023.
