SAN DIEGO – January 30, 2023 – Season 7 is out now Rocket League Side Slam! Season 7 introduces changes to how Rocket Pass works, collectible rewards, and a new competitive season.

Rocket Pass Changes – Rocket Pass progression will no longer reset between seasons and is now a way to permanently track your progress in the game while earning items. Players will get items, badge borders, and a new currency, tokens, when they level up. The tokens can be used to purchase seasonal gifts that drop random items from previous seasons. Introduction of Collections – A new in-game collection tab has been added to track all customization items. When players collect all the items in a category, they will also get a corresponding collection reward. For example, collecting each Boost will unlock the Gold Rush Boost.

Ranked Season Changes – Seasons will now be slightly shorter, lasting eight weeks each. At the beginning of each season, a soft rank reset will take place and players will be reset to the first level of the rank they achieved at the end of the previous season.
