PC Download Deals for the Weekend of September 23: Steam Lock & Load VR Sale

There haven’t been many exciting sales in the VR space lately, but Steam hopes to change that with its Lock & Load VR sale. This latest promotion focuses on some of the most exciting VR titles on the platform, including Half-Life: Alyx. If you own a VR headset and haven’t played Alyx, you probably should. After all, it won Shacknews Game of the Year honors for 2020. If you’re not in the VR space, Steam has several other offerings, including more from last week’s TGS sales for Xbox, Capcom, and Square Enix. .

Elsewhere, the Humble Store has Crime Pays and RPG Sales this weekend. GOG.com continues the love for Cyberpunk 2077 while also offering discounts on dozens of other top titles. Lastly, Green Man Gaming continues to be the place to go for discounts on new releases with Serial Cleaners joining that list.

Chief editor

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been interested in gaming ever since, only stepping away briefly during his college years. But he was removed after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping push the Guitar Hero series into its heyday. Ozzie has become a huge fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge fan of anything that has a good narrative and convincing behind. Because what are video games if you can’t enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
