Tennessee baseball is one win away from a third straight regional title.

The Vols face Charlotte (36-27) on Sunday (6 pm ET, ESPN+) with a super regional berth on the line.

No. 2 seed Tennessee (40-19) clinches the Clemson Regional title with a win on Sunday. If the Vols lose, they would clinch a regional title with a victory Monday in a rematch with third-seeded Charlotte.

Tennessee beat Charlotte 8-1 in its opener on Friday. The 49ers stayed alive by beating Lipscomb 9-2 on Saturday and Clemson 3-2 on Sunday.

The Vols entered Sunday in the winner’s bracket after beating Clemson 6-5 in 14 innings on Saturday.

Charlotte 7: Camden Sewell in the game to pitch. Beam allowed two runs on four hits and 10 strikeouts in 6 innings. He threw 92 pitches. Sewell allows a walk and a double, but strikes out to strand RISP and end the threat.

Tennessee 6th: Christian Moore again! A two-run burst to center extends the Vols lead. Tennessee 6, Charlotte 2.

Charlotte 6: Cam Fisher RBI double cuts on the lead. Tennessee 4, Charlotte 2.

Tennessee 5th: Charlotte Hale Sims pitcher in the game, and he puts the Vols in order.

Charlotte 5: Austin Knight, transfer from Tennessee, home runs to left field. Tennessee 4, Charlotte 1.

Tennessee 4th: Vols has something to do in the room. Jared Dickey comes through an E3 and Griffin Merritt hits a double off the left field wall.
