Juhi Chawla, Ayesha Jhulka’s Amazon Prime Hush Hush First Look Revealed | Bollywood

Amazon Prime Video shared a poster for its upcoming Hush Hush show on social media. The show will mark the digital debut of actors Juhi Chawla and Ayesha Jhulka. It will premiere on September 22. Soha Ali Khan, who is also a part of the show, also shared the poster, captioning it, “Spill the beans soon, until then, let’s keep it.” The show is produced by Abundantia Entertainment, directed by Vikram Malhotra.

The seven-episode thriller was created by filmmaker Tanuja Chandra, known for movies like Dushman, Sangharsh, and Qarib Qarib Singlle. The show revolves around a group of women whose perfect lives begin to unravel when an unexpected event brings to light secrets from their past and threatens everything they hold dear.

According to the show’s official synopsis, “Hush Hush is woven into a web of lies, deceit and fighting patriarchy, the story explores the storm brewing behind the seemingly calm facade of these women’s privileged lives.”

The film was announced by Amazon Prime in March on International Women’s Day. In an interview with Mid Day, while talking about the show, Soha said, “Hush Hush is brave and real. Often, we would wear the same costumes for days and wear no makeup. We had to show our raw emotions. So, it was a grueling, emotionally draining shoot. As an actor, it made me empty out in a way I haven’t in a long time.”

He added, “This was my first collaboration with Juhi, but I don’t have many scenes with her. The story mainly revolves around Kritika, Shahana and my character. Since we are good friends off screen, it helped the dynamic.”
