Joffrey actor marries his longtime girlfriend

the game of Thrones The actor who plays King Joffrey has married his girlfriend Roisin O’Mahony.

Jack Gleeson married the UK-based actor and comedian on Saturday, in what appeared to be quite an intimate setting.

The pastor, Father Patsy Lynch, shared some snapshots of the low-key wedding on Twitter, writing, “Very simple, prayerful and dignified marriage ceremony for movie celebrity Jason Gleeson and Roisin: The Glen Church.”

Father Lynch confirmed that the meeting was a pre-wedding ceremony and that a second event will take place very soon.

He told Independent.ie: “It’s a pre-wedding ceremony, the actual ceremony will take place in England, but the family have been holidaying here at Ballinskelligs, The Glen, for many years and have many happy memories here.”

“We had a beautiful, prayerful and dignified wedding ceremony.

“Jack texted me this morning to say what a wonderful and moving ceremony it was and then they went to eat.”

Gleeson to star in upcoming Netflix thriller In the land of saints and sinners, alongside the star-studded cast of Liam Neeson, Ciarán Hinds, Colm Meaney and Kerry Condon.

A synopsis from IMDb reads: “In a remote Irish village, a damaged Finbar is forced to fight for redemption after a life of sin, but what price is he willing to pay? In the land of saints and sinners, some sins cannot be buried.”

Well, it’s safe to say that Gleeson won’t be reprising his role as King Joffrey in the game of Thrones cleave house of the dragon.

The new 10-part series is based on George RR Martin’s fire and bloodwhich takes place 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones.

The story of Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen (Emma D’Arcy) and her best friend Alicent Hightower (Olivia Cooke) is front and center in the new show.

The relationship of the characters highlights a division. leading to the bloodiest civil war the country has seen.

The full cast includes Paddy Considine (HBO’s The third day Y the foreigner), Matt Smith (doctor who), Olivia Cooke, Emma D’Arcy, Steve Toussaint (It’s a sin, doctor who), Eve Best, Sonoya Mizuno, Fabien Frankel and Rhys Ifans.
