Scooby-Doo and the Mystery Incorporated gang are returning with a new movie just in time for Halloween. Trick or treat, Scooby-Doo opens this October and will be the 37th film in the Scooby-Doo franchise and the third Halloween film. The new Scooby-Doo Halloween movie follows popular ones like Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island, Scooby-Doo and the Witch’s Ghost, Scooby-Doo! and the Goblin King, Happy Halloween, Scooby-Doo! and more recently, Straight Outta Nowhere: Scooby-Doo meets courage. Trick or treat, Scooby-Doo will be available to purchase on digital platforms beginning Tuesday, October 4, and then on DVD on Tuesday, October 18. The new Halloween movie will also be available on Cartoon Network and HBO Max during this year’s annual Scoobtober celebration.

The episodes, “El Bandito” of Be cool, Scooby-Doo!“Halloween Headless Horseman” by Scooby-Doo/Dynomutt time and “To Change a Witch” from Scooby Doo Where Are You! It will also premiere on HBO Max.

The crew is on a mission to save Halloween in Trick or treat, Scooby-Doo.

Throughout the 72-minute movie, Mystery Inc. goes on a mission to save Halloween. The movie synopsis says:

“Mystery Inc. has solved the case to beat all cases. They’ve tracked down Coco Diablo, the head of the notorious costumed crime syndicate who conspires with The Black Knight, Space Kook, and Ghost Diver. With Coco and her kitten in prison, Mystery Inc. thinks they’ll finally get a break. Wrong! Suddenly, menacing doppelgänger ghosts from the Scooby crew and their favorite classic enemies appear in Coolsville to threaten Halloween. Now it’s up to the nosy kids, and their unlikely new partner Coco, to unmask the latest scoundrel and save Halloween! For Shaggy and Scooby-Doo, with trick-or-treating on the line, this time it’s personal!

On August 22, Warner Bros. Entertainment released the first trailer for Scooby-Doo Trick or Treat, and it looks festive and fun. “Ruh-roh, there’s another mystery!” the company wrote on Instagram.

The new original movie will star Frank Welker as Scooby-Doo and Fred Jones, Gray DeLisle as Daphne Blake, Matthew Lillard as Shaggy Rogers, and Kate Micucci as Velma Dinkley. So buckle up, the crew is back!
