How to watch: 2023 North American West semifinal and event schedule

The 2023 CrossFit Games semifinals continue this week and in North America that means the West, the second of two semifinal events on the continent. The four-day competition will take place at the Pasadena Convention Center in Pasadena, CA and the top 10 women, 9 men and 10 team finishers will advance to the CrossFit Games later this summer.

Live broadcast: A live stream of the event will take place on the CrossFit Games YouTube channel and on the CrossFit Games home page.

  • Thursday: Day 1 Live Stream
  • Friday: broadcast of day 2

  • Sunday: broadcast of day 4

4 rounds per time, with one member at each station, of:

Eco Bike 2.5K/2K*
800m race*
Bear Hug Sandbag Hold*
150 double unders*
10 Clean and worm jerks

Time limit: 28 minutes

*Athletes must change stations each round.

In pairs MF for 15 minutes, complete as many rounds and repetitions as possible of:

3 synchronized muscle-ups: 1 partner on the rings, 1 partner on the bar
5 synchronized thrusters, 95/65

*1 pair works while the other rests, then switches.
**Add +2 muscle-ups and +5 thrusters after both partners complete the round.

Start pair MF 1:

10/7 calorie rows
10 (each) dumbbell synchronized alternate snatches (♂90 lbs/♀60 lbs)
15 (each) 24-inch box jumps, alternating

Start pair MF 2:

10/7 ski calories
20 (each) dumbbell synchronized alternate snatches (♂70 lbs/♀50 lbs)
10 (each) 30-inch box jumps, alternating

*When both pairs have completed a round, switch positions for the next round.
**Couple 1 will paddle 3 times and ski 2 times.
***Couple 2 will ski 3 times and paddle 2 times.

Time limit: 15 minutes

As many repetitions as possible in 3 minutes of:

5 ring complexes (1 toe-to-ring, 1 muscle-up, 1 ring dip)
20 single leg squats
Max burpees on box

Complete 3 rounds, resting 1 minute between rounds. The score is the total number of repetitions in the 3 rounds.

♀ 220 pound deadlift, 60 pound dumbbell, 105 pound squat clean
♂ 295-pound deadlift, 90-pound dumbbells, 145-pound squat clean
