How to Unlock Pandaemonium Raid: Abyssos (Wild) in FFXIV Endwalker

FFXIV: Extreme Walker Players who want to take on a challenge and get the best gear in the slot will need to unlock the Wild fighting mode from the previously released Pandemonium: Abyssos Raids. Our FF14 The guide explains where to unlock the first tier of Pandemonium Savage raids and how the gear drop works.

Pandemonium Unlock: Abyssos (Wild)

Before attempting to unlock this, you’ll need to (of course) make sure you have all four normal raid fights unlocked.

To unlock the wild raids, you just need to talk to Nemjiji in Labyrinthos. We have marked the location of him below.

Your item level will need to be at least 600 to start the first of four fights.

Get equipment from Pandemonium: Abyssos (Wild)

Getting loot from wild raids is a bit different from normal raids. Each raid will drop generic chests for different gear. You will need to open the chest as the job you want the equipment for. (For example, if you want to cast gear, you’ll need to use the chest while it’s set as a caster job.)

Some raids will also drop materials needed to increase Tomestone of Causality gear. You’ll also get an Abyssos Mythos per clearing, a token you can trade for gear. However, for all the loot to drop, there are group requirements:

  • Two treasure chests will only appear if all eight party members have not previously completed the fight that week.
  • If one to four of the players in your party have already completed the fight that week, only one chest will appear. If more than four people in your party have completed the fight at the beginning of that week, no chests will appear.
  • You will need to complete each fight for two chests to appear.
  • If you jump to make the messy fights, the previous fights will be considered “clear” and you will lose a treasure chest (or two, depending on the people in your party). You also won’t get Myths for skipped fights that week.

The weekly reset occurs on Tuesdays at 4am EDT. Restrictions on first-tier drops from wild raids are likely to be removed in a small patch before 6.4, depending on the latest expansion’s timeline.

Just like normal raids, specific fights drop specific gear, so you’ll want to figure out with your party who gets what. We’ve detailed the loot drops below.
