The new 3.0 update can be confusing in a lot of places, even for experienced players – now there’s this cool new teleport, but how do you use it? Going back to the beginning, how do you cast spells in the first place? Eye, it’s very easy:
To get started, you need to find the “Tome of Kurak” book, which is located in the south of the map in a cave. Actually, a treasure map will lead you there, which you will get from one of the new slave wizards when you kill him. But we will save you the search task, just go to the cave marked here:
At the end of the cave, an altar awaits you, in which you will find the Tome of Kurak spellbook. Pick up the book and you will have unlocked the first buildings and items for magic. Among your new magical achievements you will now find the “Tablet of Thaumaturgy”, which you build in your base and then place the Book of Kurak on it:

How to build a transport stone: The construction costs of a carrier stone are relatively manageable, but keep in mind that you will have to pay for it multiple times. You have to build at least two teleporters. However, there is no limit, and in theory you can spread dozens of Conveyor Stones around the map, for example, to quickly reach the Goldstone or Crimson Lotus farm.

Activate the Transporter Stone, you need these resources
If you have placed at least two portals, you just need to activate them. To do this, you need the following resources (amount per portal:)
- 50x sulfur
- 3x sacrificial blood in a bottle
Put both items in the portal inventory and click “turn on” in the upper right corner. Your character makes an intense prayer to the gods and wham, the portal opens. What is corruption? It is a disease in Conan Exiles that affects your character and appears with a purple bar across your status bars. Corruption reduces your maximum health and stamina. The more often you travel with your transporter stone, the more the corruption will affect your character.
