What equipment is upgradable?

How to update equipment in Minecraft Update 1.19
You can upgrade your equipment in two phases. The first is relatively simple. You just need to collect resources and craft equipment that is the same as you plan to upgrade. Doing this will give you a second piece of gear that still has full durability. Understandably, that can sometimes be difficult if you’re trying to work with diamond or netherite gear. It’s part of the process, though.
The second phase is the part that gets a little more complicated. But don’t worry, I’ll make it all make sense. Once you have your two tools and maybe even an enchanted book or two that you collected along the way, the real fun begins. From here, you’ll take your tools and any enchanted books to an anvil, where the two pieces of equipment will be combined.
