How to change the difficulty

To change the difficulty of your game, you will need to head to a hub that has a world level statue. Using the world level statue, you can change your difficulty in devil 4. You can also change your difficulty through the character select menu.

Diablo 4 Difficulties

There are four different levels of difficulty that you can play on devil 4. You can learn more about them below.

Tier 1

Level 1 is the first difficulty level in devil 4. Considered the adventure level, level 1 is the way to go if you haven’t had a lot of experience in the Devil franchise or you want to take it easy and enjoy the campaign of the game. The levels of this level range from 1 to 50 and the enemies are relatively easy to take down. Playing the game on level 1 difficulty won’t give you much of a challenge, but it’s great for sprinting.

Level 2

Tier 2, considered the Veteran Tier, is recommended for players who want a relaxed play style but want a bit more of a challenge. Recommended for levels 1-50, you have a chance to gain more experience and gold while playing level 2. Monsters will reward you with 20% more experience and 15% more gold when you defeat them.

Level 3

Tier 3, or the Nightmare Tier, is for players who want a much bigger challenge and have a decent amount of experience with it. Devil franchise. However, if you want to play the Nightmare level devil 4 difficulty, you will need to complete the campaign, along with the Cathedral of Light, while playing on Tier 2 difficulty.

However, with Nightmare Tier, there are several benefits. You can now get both Holy and Unique items as well as enemy drops. Nightmare Dungeons can now be opened by dropping Nightmare Sigils. You can now find monsters from Slopes and Champions with damage resistance auras.

Additionally, monsters grant 100% more experience, drop 15% more gold, and overcome 20% resistance.

Level 4

Torment

Torment, or level 4 difficulty, is the highest difficulty you can unlock and use. Torment is recommended for experienced players looking to challenge themselves throughout the campaign in devil 4 with the greatest difficulty. Torment is recommended for levels 70+ and must be unlocked by playing the campaign on Nightmare difficulty.

In Torment difficulty, you can get new unique items and ancient items. In addition, enemies are much stronger, granting 200% more experience, dropping 15% more gold, and over 40% resistance.
