If you don’t feel comfortable dodging frequently and nervously, you might benefit from bringing a shield in this battle (if you are a melee user). Be prepared to generally deal with follow-up attacks on all of Red Wolf’s moves. He likes to attack in combos, so make sure you wait a while before trying to counter.

Red Wolf Moveset

Attempt dodge aside with these attacks, as dodging the first attack could leave you hit with the follow-up (if Red Wolf lands several in a row).
High Jump Sword
This is the first of several attacks in which Radagon’s Red Wolf summons a magical sword into his mouth. The red wolf jumps high into the air, then comes down hard with a one hit attack. You can find this move as the finishing move in a sword combo, or more commonly, you’ll find this move as a single attack. There are always a delay after this attack as Red Wolf resets and prepares for his next attack, so he’ll have a good window to attack.
Sword Swing Combo
Red Wolf of Radagon brings his head left (your right) and summon the sword, the blade sticks up. The red wolf will then swing the sword once, then swing it back for a second follow-up attack. This is most often a two strike combo, but Red Wolf will sometimes follow it up with a Sword High Leap attack. When you recognize this combo, wait to attack until you’re sure the combo is over.
Sword Spin Attack
You will recognize the Red Wolf’s Sword Spin Attack by summoning the sword and bringing its head back to your right (your left). This indicates that the spinning attack is about to begin. Despite the intimidating nature of the movement, it is comparatively easy to dodge. If you dodge the boss during the first hit, the turn tracking is so fast you should still have your I-frames from the first dodge. Once the move is complete, you’ll have a brief window during which you can attack before Radagon’s Red Wolf leaps away.
triple bite
During this attack, Radagon’s Red Wolf bite twice in quick succession, and bites for the third timefollowed by a pause. This pause can be misleading and make you think that the attack sequence is complete. Watch out for that third hit after the break. Once the third bite occurs, Radagon’s Red Wolf is vulnerable to your follow-up attack.

You will recognize this attack when Radagon’s Red Wolf rears up On its hind legs, it backs up and then lunges forward with a powerful bite attack. This attack is just a single attack, with a long pause after the wolf resets, so if you can recognize and dodge it in time, you’ll be able to capitalize on the red wolf pausing after it completes the move.
Jump stride
Often performed right after casting a Magic Glintblade, Red Wolf of Radagon suddenly leaps forward with a single bite attack. the impulse of the attack carries it far past you, so there isn’t a good chance to attack during this move. Just be ready for this move; has amazing range, allowing the red wolf clear most of the room with a single jump.
Kite
The Red Wolf of Radagon’s maw will flash blue briefly before it jump high in the air, blue-green magic creeping under him. Once he reaches the top of the jump, Red Wolf will cast the Comet spell from his mouth, sending a a single burst of magic to you. Once you recognize the jump and the magic trail from her mouth, you’re ready to dodge.
