Hailee Steinfeld Is Ready To See Gwen Stacy In Her Own Live-Action Spider-Woman Movie
It’s no secret that Gwen Stacy has already appeared in live-action. Spiderman movies, but will Spider-Gwen eventually get her own movie? Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse star Hailee Steinfeld shared her thoughts on Spider-Woman finally making her live-action debut.
Hailee Steinfeld Eager For Spider-Gwen Live-Action Spinoff
Hailee Steinfeld recently spoke with The Hollywood Reporter. During the interview, she floated the idea of a live-action Gwen spin-off and, unsurprisingly, the almost seventeen The star admitted that she would love to play Spider-Gwen in her own live-action movie.
She also talked about the difference in her portrayal of a live-action Spider-Gwen.
“In general, I thought you would do the greatest things in animation, but in this film and with these characters, it’s very important to be grounded, to be real and to feel authentic,” Steinfeld said.
“There may have been a time when I felt the need to overcompensate because it wasn’t live action,” he added. “I wasn’t the one who did the thing. So I felt like in order for you to feel it on the other end, it had to go bigger, but I quickly realized there’s no need for that.”
Steinfeld continued, “With everything that’s going on and all the different styles of animation and music being such a big part and the score being so moving, all I had to do was feel as real as possible in the material.”
“So would you deliver the lines differently in live action?” she pondered. “That’s something very interesting.”
“I would imagine if they came from the same place, it would feel similar, but with some physicality thrown in there, it would be inherently different,” Steinfeld concluded.
We love the idea of Hailee Steinfeld playing the live-action Spider-Gwen. However, the Spider-Woman spinoff movie has yet to be announced. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
