Gordon Ramsay’s new suburban Chicago restaurant will officially open next week.
The newest location, located in downtown Naperville, is scheduled to open its doors beginning Tuesday, marking the second Ramsay’s Kitchen restaurant to open in the Chicago area.
Offering an “all-day dining menu,” the restaurant will offer “a glimpse into Ramsay’s personal cooking,” according to a recently released statement, with an all-day menu celebrating the “most inspired, talked about, and favourite.” of the famous chef. dishes from his esteemed culinary career and his journeys.” Menu items include things like a roast beef sandwich, crispy-skinned salmon, Ramsay’s Signature Beef Wellington, and more.
“Bringing Ramsay’s Kitchen to Naperville allows us to share some of my favorite dishes from my career and highlight cuisines from my world travels with area locals and visitors,” Ramsay said in a statement. “The restaurant team and I are also thrilled to immerse ourselves in the warmth of the Midwest. Good food brings people together, and we look forward to hosting guests at the restaurant and becoming a part of this great community.”
The restaurant aims to offer a “casually elegant and approachable environment,” accommodating more than 160 guests at a time within the 5,656-square-foot space, which includes a bar and lounge, seasonal patio, and more.
Situated “in the heart of the room,” the open-concept kitchen will give diners a front-row view of all the action and ingredients.
The design is intended to be a combination of Naperville history and Ramsay’s British heritage.
Before being converted to restaurant space, the premises were occupied by Oswald’s Pharmacy from the 1930s to the 1980s.
“The bar’s custom millwork will reference the apothecary shop previously in the space, introducing modern details while retaining artistic character and local vernacular, including the original limestone wall made from the abandoned quarry, now Centennial Beach,” according to Ramsay’s team.
Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay is opening another restaurant in Illinois, this time in the western Chicago suburb of Naperville.
Ramsay previously opened Gordon Ramsay Burger in Chicago in December 2021 and also plans to introduce another concept in Chicago called Hell’s Kitchen. The restaurant, which is inspired by the Fox television series of the same name, will be located at 508 N. State St.
