GKIDS has revealed today that it will be bringing Studio Ghibli’s entire catalog of anime films to the United States and Canada. Starting today, all films developed by the legendary Japanese studio will be available for digital download for rent in both the original Japanese and English dubs.
For more than three decades, Ghibli has enchanted the world with stories of wonder and mystery. Currently, Studi Ghibli is producing two new films. First, How do you live?, is expected to be Miyazaki’s last feature film. The Studio Ghibli co-creator had previously retired in 2014, but in 2017 he decided to work on a final project. Although little is known about How do you live?the movie is inspired by Genzaburo YoshinoThe 1937 novel of the same name. No release date yet How do you live? and no information about the second film project. In addition to working on new movies to surprise us all, Studio Ghibli will also open a new theme park in Japan based on its most iconic properties.
