Calendar 2023
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – With Florida’s 40th volleyball season on the horizon, the head coach has announced the 2023 schedule. maria knew.
The Gators have 27 regular-season games scheduled during the 2023 campaign, including 14 games at Exactech Arena at the Stephen C. O’Connell Center.
UF is coming off a 25-6 season in 2022, clinching its 25th SEC Championship after a 15-3 league record. The Gators made the 29th overall and sixth straight appearance in the program’s regional semifinal.
Florida kicks off the 2023 campaign in Tampa, Florida at the Road 2 Tampa Bay Invitational on August 25-26. The Gators will take on Penn State at Amalie Arena on Friday night, followed by a Saturday night matchup against the host. South Florida at the Yuengling Center.
UF then heads west to take on the Stanford Cardinal on Tuesday, August 29 before returning to Gainesville for the home opener against Minnesota on September 3.
The Gators remain at home for the following weekend, hosting their only tournament of the season on September 7-9. Florida takes on Sacramento State on Thursday, followed by a Friday night matchup against Clemson. UF closes out the tournament on Saturday against Winthrop.
Florida then hits the road for the Sunshine Showdown in Tallahassee, taking on the Seminoles on Tuesday, September 12.
One season after setting the NCAA regular season attendance record against Wisconsin, the Gators welcome the Badgers to Exactech Arena on Sunday, September 17.
The Southeastern Conference plans to return to a pre-COVID schedule format, with teams no longer facing the same opponent on back-to-back days. Florida begins SEC play on Friday, September 22 in Auburn, then faces the Georgia Bulldogs at home on Sunday, September 24.
The Gators stay in Gainesville and take on the Texas A&M Aggies on Wednesday, September 27 before traveling to Columbia, South Carolina, to take on the South Carolina Gamecocks on October 1.
Then UF is home for two games, taking on Auburn on Oct. 6 before facing Alabama on Oct. 8. The Gators then begin a three-game road trip, reaching Mississippi State (October 13), Texas A&M (October 20) and Ole Miss (October 25).
Closing out the month of October, Florida takes on the Arkansas Razorbacks on Sunday, October 29.
On the first weekend of November, the Gators host Tennessee (November 3) and Kentucky (November 5), then follow up with a split weekend, hosting LSU on November 10 and traveling to Alabama on November 12. .
Three of Florida’s last four games are on the road, beginning with a matchup against Missouri on Friday, November 17. The Gators then head to Fayetteville, Ark. to face the Razorbacks on November 19.
Florida’s final home game is scheduled for Wednesday, November 22 against South Carolina, then after the Thanksgiving holiday, the Gators close out the regular season in Kentucky on Saturday, November 25.

As announced in April, season tickets for the 2023 season are now on sale through Gator Ticket Office Online or by calling 352-375-4683 ext. 6800.
renewal dates
- April 19th | Renewals begin and the New Subscriptions go on sale
- June 28th | Term for renewal of season tickets
- July 11-12 | relocation appointments
- August 3rd | Single match tickets on sale
As with the 2022 season, season ticket holders will continue to have the “Mix and Match” benefit. This gives season ticket holders the option to redeem their tickets for games they will not be able to attend in exchange for additional tickets for games they will attend. *This excludes box and court season ticket holders, unless they wish to redeem for regular reserved seating.
Tickets will remain fully mobile through the Florida Gators app for the 2023 season.
Ticket sales for a single match will begin in August.
