Gamers Excited For Upcoming Announcements: Every June 2023 Video Game Presentation

E3 is usually where most game companies present their biggest games, but not this year.

The convention is canceled and instead each company is putting on their own smaller showcase.

There are still plenty of big-name games to be announced this year, and many more that gamers are hoping to see.

Don’t miss a thing with this schedule of the biggest gaming showcases for June 2023.

Summary and how to watch

PlayStation May 2023 Showcase

PlayStation had the first showcase of the season, showcasing extensive gameplay for Spider-Man 2.

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater was announced and the release dates for Alan Wake 2 and Assassin’s Creed Mirage were also revealed.

The biggest announcement was that Sony is developing its own portable streaming console, due for release this year, called Project Q.

Meta Quest Games Showcase

Meta will be holding a 40-minute showcase for upcoming games on its Meta Quest VR headset.

Formerly known as the Oculus Quest, it’s one of the best virtual reality sets on the market.

You can watch the main event on Twitch, Facebook, YouTube, and in Meta Horizon Worlds.

Showcase of the Guerrilla Collective

This showcase will bring trailers and announcements of upcoming indie games from the Media Indie Exchange.

+Some of the confirmed indie titles include farm cat game Snacko, Contra-inspired action platformer Iron Meat, roguelite StormEdge, and sandbox survival horror Outbreak Island.

Guerrilla Collective Showcase will be broadcast live on Twitch.

The biggest summer showcase, Summer Game Fest, will have world premieres from more than 40 publishers.

This year’s lineup includes console makers Sony and Xbox, as well as big names like Activision, Capcom, Square Enix, EA, Epic Games, Bandai Namco, CD Projekt Red, Ubisoft, and HoYoVerse.

It also includes independent game publishers such as Annapurna Interactive and Devolver Digital, and two of the largest streaming services’ gaming units, Amazon Games and Netflix Games.

The Summer Game Fest can be viewed via YouTube, Twitch or Twitter.

Developers Day Digital Showcase

Technically part of Summer Game Fest, this smaller showcase will feature upcoming indie games.

You can watch this one through the same channels as the previous one.

Return Digital Direct

One of the largest independent game publishers will also host its own live stream as part of Summer Game Fest.

Accessibility Summer Exhibition

This new showcase will feature games developed by disabled players with extensive accessibility options.

Soft Leaf Studios, Hyper Luminal Games, and Whitethorn Games have been confirmed to appear.

The Wholesome Direct will feature cozy games with similar vibes to Stardew Valley and Unpacking.

future games show

Hosted by GamesRadar and hosted this year by Marvel’s Spider-Man voice actors Yuri Lowenthal and Laura Bailey, the show promises 70 minutes of game announcements, trailers, and reveals.

OTK Games Expo

Hosted by streaming collective One True King, the OTK Games Expo will showcase 30 video games from a variety of genres.

Final Fantasy 16 Pre-Launch Celebration Live Stream

Square Enix has confirmed a huge live stream leading up to the release of Final Fantasy 16.

The game is due out on June 22, and the pre-launch celebration event is scheduled for June 11, although where we can see it hasn’t been released yet.

Xbox Games Showcase

A sequel to Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice and a new game from Forza Motorsport are expected to be shown at Xbox Showcase.

A short sneak peek posted on May 31 seems to confirm that we’re getting a major Fable announcement 12 years after the last major release.

Xbox Games Showcase can be viewed via the official Xbox channels on YouTube, Twitch, and Facebook.

Starfield will have its own showcase directly after the Xbox main event.

PC gaming show

PC Gamer presents 55 titles for PC, including 16 new game announcements with the confirmed presence of Baldur’s Gate III and Dune: Awakening.

PC Gaming Show 2023 will be streamed on YouTube and Twitch.

Ubisoft forward

Ubisoft’s showcase promises “exciting news about upcoming games from our teams around the world.”

Details about specific games and announcements have yet to be revealed, but the publisher will share more as the event gets closer.

A new showcase highlighting women in games and games made by women.

Upload Virtual Reality Showcase

Dubbed the biggest VR showcase, The Upload VR Showcase will have updates on upcoming VR games for a variety of platforms.

RGG Summer Summit

RGG Summit Summer 2023 will feature news and updates on upcoming Like a Dragon/Yakuza games, including Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name and Like a Dragon 8.

You will be able to watch the broadcast with simultaneous interpretation on Sega Asia’s English YouTube channel.
