How to save in Fallout 76?
To save your game, fast travel to another location, complete quests, or exit the game to the main menu. These actions trigger an automatic save in Fallout 76 which preserves the progress when uploading it to the server. Note that Fallout 76 is an MMORPG that requires an Internet connection to save data.

Open the menu, hover over a location or point of interest, and select Fast Travel. This will force the game to save.

In the menu, press right on the D-pad to see the daily and weekly missions. Do either of these to save the game or finish one of the main objectives for the same effect.
