FA Cup schedule: fourth round replays, fifth round draw

The FA Cup always offers surprises and many Premier League clubs had difficult tasks to face in the fourth round. One still has one, in fact.

After Aston Villa, Newcastle, Nottingham Forest and Bournemouth were knocked out by lower league opponents in the third round, plus Everton, Chelsea, Crystal Palace, Arsenal and Brentford knocked out by other Premier League teams, there were only 10 players from first division. teams remaining in the competition.

Arsenal narrowly lost to Manchester City in a heavyweight clash, while Brighton won late against Liverpool and Manchester United beat Reading easily.

And then there’s Wrexham AFC, who almost upset Sheffield United, but will have to settle for a repeat.
