Synopsis:
A charming thief and a band of unlikely adventurers go on an epic heist to recover a lost relic, but things go dangerously wrong when they run into the wrong people in this hilarious, action-packed adventure.

‘Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves’ brings the world of fantasy to life and follows a group of unlikely people who join forces in an attempt to pull off a massive heist intent on destroying a merchant’s influence, saving to a girl and potentially preventing evil from reigning; Plus, of course, making a lot of money in the process. The only problem for this motley crew of criminals and their friends, both new and old, is that they lack experience, talent, and numbers; but then again, what a ridiculous and rewarding heist it succeeded for those unwilling to try.
Directed by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley (Game Night, Vacation) from a screenplay by Jonathan Goldstein, John Francis Daley and Michael Gilio, and a story by Chris McKay and Michael Gilio, directors Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley make a great job. at the helm of ‘Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves’ carefully and stylishly guiding the fun and visually stunning journey. The cast of the film includes Chris Pine (Don’t Worry Darling), Michelle Rodriguez (Fast X), Regé-Jean Page (The Gray Man), Justice Smith (Jurassic World: Dominion), Sophia Lillis (It 2017), Chloe Coleman (65), Daisy Head (Wrong Turn 2021) and Hugh Grant (Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre), and most deliver solid or at least adequate performances for the most part in their respective roles and many go a long way toward making this become as fun as it is.
‘Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves’ is a tremendously enjoyable, action-packed good time that’s loaded with laughs and visually spectacular vistas throughout, and should prove just as entertaining regardless of whether you’re familiar with the world of Dungeons. & Dragons as a whole or have no knowledge of it, let alone how it works. The movie strikes a perfect balance that should appeal to fans of the game and give them a lot of nods and tidbits to discover and appreciate within, without making things even slightly confusing for those who are new to the world and doing it in a way that it shouldn’t insult or annoy viewers on either end, which isn’t always an easy task with something that’s based on a property as popular as this.
Packed with colorful and fun characters, and giving them a mission that is both selfish and noble at the same time, and then delivering an explosive ride that is filled with beautiful effects, memorable action sequences, and even a surprising amount of heart at the center. . all-up The film is quickly guided by directors Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley and their painstaking behind-the-scenes work is enormously boosted every step of the way by a well-curated cast led by Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez and a charmingly despicable Hugh Grant. .
Overall, ‘Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves’ is a fast-paced, visually-splendid, and fun journey, filled with adventure, heart, and excitement in almost every way. Benefiting from a smart approach that strikes a right balance that works for fans and newcomers to the world, and should leave both with a smile on their faces. ‘Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves’ is highly recommended regardless of whether you are already familiar with the material. If you tend to enjoy a visually remarkable and consistently funny fantasy epic populated with countless creatures, magic, and likable characters, then it’s well worth the time and cost of a rental to give it a try. Those simply interested in purchasing a 4K Ultra HD copy of the film shouldn’t be disappointed by what the release has to offer, whether it includes stunning video and audio presentations with over an hour of enjoyable bonus material. .

The 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray release of ‘Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves’ features a full 2160p ultra-high definition presentation with Dolby Vision and HDR-10, presented in its original Cinemascope 2.39:1 aspect ratio. The video presentation looks great as a whole and provides a clean, crisp and beautifully detailed presentation from start to finish that never suffers from unexpected glitches discovered along the way. It’s beautifully delivered throughout and offers impressive detail and clarity across the board, with everything from character clothing and facial details to landscapes and creatures looking sharp and immaculately detailed. The addition of Dolby Vision only makes everything better and offers a wonderful color palette that consistently stands out, along with deep, seemingly endless black levels that are absent of crush or any other potential flaws. Overall, this is a fantastic ultra-high definition video presentation that impressively delivers every step of the way and should easily thrill fans and newcomers alike.
AUDIO:
The 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray release features a Dolby Atmos soundtrack (compatible with Dolby TrueHD 7.1 channels). Please note that this review pertains only to Dolby TrueHD 7.1 audio presentation. This multi-channel soundtrack is quite outstanding in its own right, delivering a sharp, clean, and remarkably aggressive audio presentation throughout. He constantly makes the most of the seven available channels for sending out creatures and spells, along with action effects, nature items, and much more by consistently lashing out at the various speakers at every suitable opportunity, while always making sure that all dialogue and other Audio elements that may be occurring simultaneously remain clean and fully audible every step of the way. Overall, this is a wonderful Dolby Atmos (Dolby TrueHD 7.1 compatible) soundtrack that perfectly complements the on-screen fun and shouldn’t disappoint in the slightest.
SPECIAL FEATURES:
The ‘Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves’ 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray release features a nice collection of bonus content including some ‘Deleted and Extended Scenes’ from the movie (running about 10 minutes in total), along with a ‘Gag Reel’ (running approximately 7 minutes) and several behind-the-scenes short films featuring interviews/commentary with cast and crew, plus behind-the-scenes footage and more. Feature films included are ‘From Dice to Dragons: Honoring the Lore’ (running approx. 11 minutes), ‘Rogues’ Gallery: The Heroes of Dungeons & Dragons’ (running approx. 11 minutes), ‘Fantastic Foes’ (approximately 11 minutes), ‘The Bestiary’ (9 minutes), ‘Forging the Forgotten Realms’ (8 minutes) and ‘Broadswords, Battleaxes & Badass Brawls’ (9 minutes).
