This week, Crunchyroll unveiled seven new anime takeovers coming to the streamer later this year. The highlight is MF GHOST, the long-awaited anime adaptation of Shuichi Shigeno’s sequel series to the iconic Initial D racing manga.
For rom-coms, we have the mismatched couple at the center of “Horiyama: The Missing Pieces” and the third season of “Rent-A-Girlfriend” (has he been renting a girlfriend for three seasons? How sad). For the isekai enthusiasts, there’s “I’ll Survive Using Potions!”, about an office drone transported to a fantasy world and endowed with the ability to make incredible potions. And for the fantasy fans, there’s “Am I Really the Strongest?”, a story about a man who is reincarnated as a prince, a prince who is then abandoned in the forest by the king AS A BABY (ugh). However, he lives because the goddess of nature has accidentally given him 1,000 times the magical power he was supposed to have. That king is ready now.
