The United States of America (USA) has named its squad for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 Qualifiers. What has been the highlight is that they have sidelined the team’s experienced Corey Anderson for the mega event.
Corey Anderson, who represented New Zealand in international cricket, moved to the US in 2020 and after playing domestic cricket there, became eligible to play for the national team earlier this year. He was expected to be there on the team, considering his experience and the type of player he is. But the selectors did not consider the one who was part of the Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and held the record for the fastest hundred in ODI cricket.
