Celebrate #RobertEnglundDay with Bloody Disgusting and SCREAMBOX on June 6!

Bloody Disgusting celebrates the horror legend’s 76th birthday Robert Englund in Tuesday, June 6, 2023and in fact, the party has already started again on SCREAMING BOX!

The Bloody Disgusting-powered horror streaming service just added THREE classic Robert Englund movies to the list, and that’s just the beginning of our epic celebration.

On SCREAMBOX, starting today, you can now stream a nightmare on elm street (1984)further tobe hooper films Night terrors (1993) and the shredder (nineteen ninety five)!

by wes craven a nightmare on elm street is, of course, the original horror classic that introduced audiences to Freddy Krueger, the dream demon that Robert Englund became a household name by playing in various movies. Night terrorsnearly a decade later saw Englund playing the Marquis de Sade for director Tobe Hooper, while Hooper the shredder brought Englund into the world of Stephen King. the shredder is one of Englund’s personal favorite films in his own filmography, based on King’s 1972 short horror story.

The arrival of these three Robert Englund films at SCREAMBOX paves the way for SCREAMBOX Original Documentary Hollywood Dreams & Nightmares: The Robert Englund Storywhich will premiere only on SCREAMBOX for Englund’s birthday on June 6.

The documentary was filmed over the course of two years, highlighting the life and career of the classically trained actor and director. Includes interviews with Robert Englund and his wife Nancy, as well as other icons of the genre. Lin Shaye, Eli Roth, Kane Hodder, Tony Todd, Adam Green, Bill Moseley, Heather Langenkamp and more, the documentary follows Englund’s career from his early days at buster and billy and stay hungry (starring Arnold Schwarzenegger) to his big break in the 1980s as Freddy Krueger, his directorial debut with the 1988 horror film 976-BAD, and his current roles as the hit Netflix series “Stranger Things.”

Hollywood Dreams & Nightmares: The Robert Englund Story look past the film’s credits and examine Englund’s career and his navigation through the cutthroat world of Hollywood.
