Cal improves to 1-1 in Pac-12 with Friday win at Oregon

— Colorado holds a 10-2 lead in the all-time series that began in 2014 and has won each of the last 10 meetings between the teams, most recently with a 17-9 decision at Berkeley last April. Cal won the first two games of the series, including the first game between the teams in Boulder in 2014.
— Cal has lost each of its last five games in Boulder since the Golden Bears’ road win in Colorado in 2014, including a 16-10 loss in its only game in Boulder last
– The game is the third of Cal’s 10 scheduled Pac-12 games during its 2023 regular-season schedule, with the only game remaining outside of the conference being an April 15 matchup at UC Davis.
