The two Xbox Game Pass games with co-op that will be removed on August 31 are spiritual traveler Y World War Z. In spiritual traveler cooperative, one player takes on the role of a girl named Stella, who is tasked with transporting souls to the afterlife, and the other plays as her cat Daffodil. Even though Daffodil is a cat, the second player in spiritual traveler he’s not really treated like a second-class citizen like he might be in other games. They can do almost everything that the Stella player can do, with a few exceptions. It’s a relaxing cooperative experience similar to stardew valleyand it’s definitely sad to see him go.
World War Zmeanwhile, it’s an action-packed co-op experience that has more in common with Left 4 Dead that stardew valley. As one might have guessed, World War Z is a shooting game in which players kill relentless hordes of the undead. Up to four players can team up online to slay zombies, and while it garnered mixed reviews, especially compared to spiritual traveler, World War Z can still be a lot of fun with friends. And now that the game is removed from Xbox Game Pass, it means that it will be more difficult for players to organize co-op sessions, since they will now have to buy the game to play it on Xbox.
On the plus side, Xbox Game Pass games are available for 20% off while they’re still on the service, so those who want to keep spiritual traveler either World War Z because your collections can do it without breaking the bank.
