According to the show’s official synopsis, “Hush Hush is woven into a web of lies, deceit and fighting patriarchy, the story explores the storm brewing behind the seemingly calm facade of these women’s privileged lives.”
Prime Video posted the first poster for the new suspenseful drama on social media, writing, “Wanted to make some noise because it’s announcement day but we’d rather keep it quiet #HushHushOnPrime September 22.” The OTT platform revealed the plot of the show in a second announcement post, writing, “#HushHushOnPrime – Prepare to expect the unexpected. The lives of five women unexpectedly come together when an unforeseen event rips the facade of their existence.
Soha Ali Khan also talked about the project in an interview, saying, “Hush Hush is brave and real. Often, we would wear the same costumes for days and wear no makeup. We had to show our raw emotions. So, it was a grueling, emotionally draining shoot. As an actor, it made me empty out in a way I haven’t in a long time.” he also added, “This was my first collaboration with Juhi, but I don’t have many scenes with her. The story mainly revolves around Kritika, Shahana and my character. Since we are good friends off screen, it helped the dynamic.”
