Good news for CW fans. all american, a trailer for the fifth season was finally released a month before its premiere. The popular American sports drama series, co-produced by robbie rogers Y Jon Wallace, will premiere its new season on Monday, October 10 at 8 pm ET/PT on the CW, followed by the season 2 premiere of All American: Homecoming.
The trailer features many familiar faces from seasons past, including both Spencer (Daniel Ezra) and Jordan (Michael Evans Behling) and promises plenty of sports and relationship drama. The trailer opens with scenes from a soccer match, followed abruptly by those of Simone (Geffri High Tower) entry. The viewer learns that she has returned for Christmas, and the characters are shown enjoying the Christmas season together. In the next scene, Jordan can be heard saying “Christmas is a time for coming together and forgiving and stuff,” suggesting that the Jordan/Simone story isn’t quite over. The rest of the trailer is vague on specific details, but it does feature steamy love scene teasers, serious heart-to-heart conversations, and plenty of action-packed sports scenes.
While there is no official synopsis for Season 5 available at this time, all american Season 4 ended with a suggested breakup between Spencer and Olivia (samantha logan), cooperative (Bre-Z) pursuing a career in criminal justice, and Olivia’s unfolding of a news story that could have dire consequences for the football program at Golden Angeles. All of these plotlines will likely be explored when the show returns for Season 5.
