Jeff Jarrett made his debut for AEW this past November, immediately aligning himself with Jay Lethal, Satnam Singh, and Sonjay Dutt.

But it wasn’t until last week’s Dynamite (May 17) that Jarrett’s wife, Karen, finally joined him on AEW.

speaking exclusively to digital spy Prior to Double or Nothing, where he and Lethal will challenge FTR for the AEW Tag Team Championship, Jarrett described Karen’s AEW debut as “the family getting back together.”

“Karen has known Jay a long time, she’s known Sonjay a long time, so I look at the reunion as the family getting back together,” Jarrett said.

“Of course, he made a statement, he ruined Cash Wheeler’s birthday, but he gave him something to put on ice, not champagne.

“It’s special. Karen has a dynamic, for whatever reason, just like me. Some people definitely don’t like us, but that’s her problem, not ours. But it was, kidding aside, as a group, as a unit, Since the team came together, it was special.”

While Jarrett, Karen and Dutt have known each other for a long time, Satnam Singh, the 7’2″ former basketball player, is a new addition to their dynamic.

Jarrett, who has worked everywhere from WCW to WWE to Impact, has seen plenty of giants in his time. But he believes that Singh, whose Netflix documentary is titled One in a Billion, is special.

“The title of his Netflix special is obviously because he was drafted by the NBA, but that’s a great synopsis of his uniqueness,” Jarrett said.

“Here’s a boy from a village in northern India who came to America 15 years ago, but he came to America frankly because of his athleticism. So he really is one in a billion.

“You have a 7’2 professional athlete.” His first sport was basketball. The agility you have to have to play basketball is truly second to none. So he has athletic ability.”

Jarrett continued: “He has a passion to learn, he’s moved to Atlanta, he’s in a wrestling ring quite often. And in the environment he’s currently in, he can sit under the learning tree of Jay Lethal and Sonjay Dutt.

“I try to give him some words of wisdom. She is in such a good environment. I think he has the most potential of any talent on the AEW roster just because there are so many upsides.

“But you go through the list of giants and you probably start with Andre the Giant, but [Singh’s] Raw, undeveloped talent is a sight to behold, and he’s just getting better and better.”
