A new restaurant has arrived in the city of Colón.
Do you like Hawaiian barbecue? Do you like ramen? If you answered yes to one or both of these questions, you might want to know that a new restaurant called Sakura Hawaii BBQ & Ramen has opened in Columbus.
For starters, the new restaurant offers appetizers such as chicken egg rolls, Japanese spring rolls with vegetables, edamame, fried sesame balls, crispy gyoza, chicken katsu, crab Rangoon, takoyaki (which are deep-fried octopus balls topped with bonito flakes and the restaurant’s signature sauce). ), coconut shrimp and fried oysters.
As for entrees, the restaurant, of course, offers Hawaiian BBQ. In addition to BBQ chicken and BBQ beef, you can get chicken katsu, grilled shrimp, fried shrimp, and/or beef ribs. Each Hawaiian BBQ meal comes with vegetables, macaroni salad, delicious sauce, and steamed rice.
Also on the menu are bowls of ramen, which are topped with scallions, fish cakes, corn, bamboo shoots, wood ear mushrooms, and a boiled egg. You can get tonkotsu ramen, miso ramen, and/or shoyu ramen.
In addition, the restaurant offers Hawaiian-style fried rice, which has pineapple and corn. You can order vegetable fried rice, chicken fried rice, beef fried rice, shrimp fried rice, or the house fried rice, which comes with chicken, beef, and shrimp.
The restaurant also serves seafood boils. Things you can put in your seafood boil are sausage, corn, potatoes, broccoli, boiled eggs, crawfish, headless shrimp, clams, black mussels, green mussels, lobster tails, and/or snow crab legs. . Sauce options are Cajun, Garlic Butter, Lemon Pepper, or the house sauce. You can make your seafood boil mild or spicy.
Sakura also offers some combo boils. If you’re in the mood for a lot of seafood, try the Combo B2, which comes with a lobster tail, 1/2 pound snow crab, 1/2 pound headless shrimp, 1/2 pound sausage, and 1/2 pound black mussels plus 2 corn , 2 potatoes, 2 eggs and broccoli.
