2009 Remake Gets a Limited Edition Blu-ray Release

Five years ago, Arrow Video released a limited edition two-disc Blu-ray set for writer-director Wes Craven’s 1972 feature film debut. last house on the left. Now they are ready to do the same for 2009. last house on the left remake (see it HERE)! The Blu-ray remake will be released in the US, UK and Canada on August 22ndnd, and copies can be pre-ordered on Diabolik.

Directed by Dennis Iliadis from a screenplay by Adam Alleca and Carl Ellsworth, last house on the left (2009) has the following synopsis: The night she arrives at Collingwood’s remote lake house, Mari and her friend are kidnapped by a prison escapee and his crew. Terrified and left for dead, Mari’s only hope is to return to her parents, John and Emma. Unfortunately, her attackers unknowingly seek refuge in the only place where she could be safe. And when her family finds out about the horrifying story, they’ll have three strangers curse the day they arrived at The Last House on the Left.

The film stars Tony Goldwyn, Monica Potter, Garret Dillahunt, Aaron Paul, Spencer Treat Clark, Riki Lindhome, Martha MacIsaac, Michael Bowen, and Sara Paxton.
