Like the Planted Expo that took place in May, Canada’s first all-vegan market will bring plant-based tacos, boozy kombucha and more to the Waldorf this month. Presented by Peaces and The Vegan Project, the series will kick off June 8 at The Waldorf and then appear in Locarno Beach on June 22, with dates at both locations also in July and August.

Do the Grouse routine

Of course, we couldn’t forget the Grouse Grind in this roundup. It’s not easy enough to navigate through, but not so difficult that you wonder if heading there was a good idea in the first place. Also, the need to purchase a dump ticket ensures some rest and relaxation once the ascent is complete.

Where: mountain grouse
Cost: $20 (for download ticket)

Check out Malahat SkyWalk

The attraction has just launched a new Tower Plaza at the base of the iconic Spiral Tower where visitors can gather to enjoy the best of Vancouver Island’s food, drink and live music scenes.
